Human Chain
Istanbul
On December 9, on the anniversary of the First Intifada, we came together to form a human chain in front of the Süreyya Opera House in Kadıköy, Istanbul, to say #freedomforpalestine in the face of the ongoing genocide in Gaza.

On the 83rd day of the ongoing genocide committed by Israel in Gaza, supporters of the Freedom for Palestine Platform came together at the Kadıköy port.
As we prepare to enter a new year, we cried out our wholehearted support for Gaza, calling on everyone to raise their voice against this genocide.
Ankara / 6 January 2024
In Ankara, we formed a human chain for Gaza. At the protest held in Ulus Square, we carried banners bearing the names of children killed by Israel. Children wrote their thoughts and feelings on a white canvas banner.

The Freedom for Palestine Platform organised another human chain, this time in Izmir, and read out a press statement. Once again, we stood in front of a list of names of children killed in Gaza and called for an urgent ceasefire and an end to the genocide.

On 14 January, we came together at KadıköySahne, Istanbul, to defend the right to live, to live in dignity. Our concert brought together a wide range of musicians, artists and activists who share the vision of a free Palestine and peace in the region. At the Solidarity Concert, we sang our songs for justice and peace!
